We are a faith community rooted in the life of Jesus<\/h3>\n

Together, we walk the way of Jesus in our communities, workplaces, households, and in the neighborhood where we gather weekly.\u00a0 We believe that Christ\u2019s call to love our neighbor means\u00a0all\u00a0<\/i>our neighbors: Immigrants, Queer folks, people of color, the rich, and the poor. This love also extends to the community of Creation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

We believe that God really wants justice<\/span><\/h3>\n

The Scriptures speak repeatedly of God\u2019s call for justice. In a world of abundance, we see that Creation speaks the same truth. The resources of Creation are not intended to be owned and controlled by the powerful few. God wants \u201coceans of justice\u201d for everyone.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

We read the Bible with an eye toward liberation for everyone<\/span><\/h3>\n

At times, throughout history, we\u2019ve inherited theological frameworks that declared women, Black and Brown bodies, Immigrants, and Queer bodies illegal or unholy. We don\u2019t just reject this inheritance; we embrace Scripture\u2019s call to liberation and love for all that God has created. The only gospel worth giving our lives to is Good News for everyone.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

      While theology, sexuality, race, and socioeconomics are often sources of division, pain, and exclusion in churches across the country, we are convinced that following Jesus calls us to cross those would-be barriers in loving solidarity with the marginalize.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

      We believe that Christ invites us to approach spiritual longing, not with a formula or force, but with curiosity, grace, and community.<\/strong> Instead of the rules and barriers that are monuments to the past, we choose inclusivity, affirmation, and a future where all of God\u2019s children know how much they are loved.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
